What Does the Textile Sector Demand from Packaging?
The textile sector operates with high-volume shipments at both domestic and export scale. Ready-wear and home-textile products are not fragile, but parameters such as container stack load, long-distance moisture variation and shelf visibility shape what is expected from the packaging.
A box with inadequate strength causes lower packages in the container to be crushed; structures with poor moisture protection can create staining and quality issues on the fabric in long-distance shipping. In-store and shelf appearance hinges on offset print quality to convey brand identity to the consumer.
At MFS Packaging we carry into the textile sector the container-friendly, double-wall box engineering we developed for automotive export shipments. We produce offset-printed corrugated boxes for ready-wear, home-textile, fabric-roll and bulk-shipment needs.

Material Recommendations

Apparel (t-shirts, shirts, underwear)
B or C flute corrugated with offset-printed outer surface.
Home textile (bed-linen sets, towels)
C flute, large format, with windowed lid where needed.
Fabric roll
Long format, BC double-wall option.
Export shipment
BC double-wall + kraft inner liner, container-stack-friendly sizes.
An Example from Production
One of our customers, an apparel manufacturer, shared that the bottom-row boxes in export containers were getting crushed and that stack height was limited in the warehouse. The existing structure was a single-wall, mid-gramage box.
Container stack height, average package count per box and the moisture profile on the shipping route were reviewed together. A BC double-wall, kraft-lined structure was proposed and dimensions were revised to match the pallet matrix.
With the new structure, bottom-row crushing was largely eliminated, the number of boxes per pallet increased and warehouse stacking height could be raised. No moisture-related staining complaint arose on export shipments.
